Why is that you ask? All of my appointments are printed on this paper for the same reason. I have had planners for years. Life happens, and appointments get rescheduled all the time. No one likes ripped stickers on their page or crossed out things - not pretty. These stickers are like a giant post-it note (extra sticky) but all over. So, it's removable, and reposition-able.
